Holy basil - tulsi

The leaves of the Holy Basil plant, often known as Holy Basil in English, have therapeutic qualities and have long been used to cure a variety of illnesses. As an adaptogen, holy basil is thought to balance many bodily functions and aid in stress adaptation. Its leaves’ juice is used to treat a variety of diseases, including inflammation, headaches, stomach problems, and coughs and colds. Due to the strong perfume of holy basil leaves, some people like to add them to their tea to give it a distinctive flavour.
